The company
Tai’an Taichong Pet Food Co., Ltd. (brand TAIPET FOOD) is in Xinxing Industrial Park, Daiyue District, Tai’an, Shandong. It was founded in 2011, has its own export rights, and does R&D, production and testing in-house as an OEM and ODM manufacturer.
It exports pet food and treats to North America, Europe and Southeast Asia, and has produced for US brands. Customer names are never disclosed.
Taichong is one of the companies that took part in drafting the 2026 Export Commodity Technical Guide: Pet Food (出口商品技术指南 宠物食品), the national guide to export markets and their import rules published by the China Chamber of Commerce for Import & Export of Foodstuffs, alongside other Chinese pet food makers, testing bodies and universities.

What your market needs
United States
The plant’s FDA registration number goes on every shipment, prior notice is filed before arrival, and your importer runs its supplier verification (FSVP). Taichong is FDA-registered and has exported to the US.
European Union and UK
The specific plant must be on the official list for your market before goods can enter. I confirm the plant’s listing for your country before you order, never after.
Southeast Asia, Japan, Korea
Most markets register the product through the local importer, and some need approval for meat-based food. Southeast Asia is the factories’ largest export region.
Gulf states and Malaysia
Halal and GSO 2055-1 certificates are held by the sister plant in the same group, Shandong Guochong Pet Food, valid to March 2028.
